Parent's Choice is the oldest nonprofit consumer guide to quality children's media in the U.S. (established in 1978). Fewer than 15% of products submitted to the awards program receive any level of commendation. Winners are displayed on their website at www.parents-choice.org .
The National Parenting Publications Awards (NAPPA) is one of the United States' most authoritative consumer-awards programs recognizing the best in children's and parenting resources. Founded in 1990, the Children's Resources division evaluates children's books, music, toys, software, videos and spoken-word recordings.
iParenting Media's innovative system of determining the best products in the children's media and juvenile product marketplace utilizes a thorough evaluation process at three outside review sites for each product: a licensed childcare facility/school, a product expert and a parent. Three separate evaluations by qualified reviewers, along with a final review by the iParenting Media Awards Executive Committee, ensures an objective and credible process.
