Toronto, Canada - July 21, 2003 - 80's powerhouse indy label, Solid Gold Records confirmed that effective immediately EMI Music Canada will be exclusively responsible for the distribution and fulfillment of all Solid Gold titles including CD's from reggae legends, the Sattalites, and 80's rock outfits Chilliwack, The Headpins and Toronto.
Solid Gold Records was the preeminent Canadian indy record label during the 1980s featuring chart topping Canadian rock bands Chilliwack, Headpins and Toronto among others. The music Solid Gold Records gave Canadians created memories for a lifetime and catapulted Canadian music and musicians on to the world stage. After 20 years, Solid Gold Records is now actively expanding its artist roster from the wealth of talent that Canada has to offer including Canadaâs own ambassadors of reggae, the Sattalites.
